A short ways out into the sea is a small island. Circular and only about one mile in diameter, it is fairly easy to cross. At low tide a small land bridge shows, letting any dogs pass over to the island in about five minutes. At high tide, the water is about ten feet deep. A healthy dog could swim the mile between land and the island in around five to ten minutes with no trouble. The island itself is barren with almost no wildlife. It houses a small cave on one end.
