Littering the beach is the ancient ruins that brought the ancestors of the strays to Africa. The once slave ship is now itself enslaved by long cords of seaweed and calcium. Barnacles cling to the wooden sides, waiting for high tide to come again. Occasionally you can find a fish unlucky enough to still be inside when low tide comes in. It makes for a quick meal. Some say it is a romantic place while others say the shipwreck is damned. Who knows?
